Welcome to the Strikers Family
Congratulations on earning a place with the Strikers Sports Academy Travel Program. With this opportunity comes
responsibility. This agreement is not just about rules—it is a commitment to excellence, respect, and growth both on
and off the field.
SSA Priorities
When decisions are made, SSA leadership follows this order:
- The best interest of the Club
- The best interest of the Team
- The best interest of the Player
- The best interest of the Coach/Parent
Parent/Guardian Commitment
- I will support my child’s development through positive encouragement.
- I will allow coaches to coach. My role is to cheer, not instruct.
-
I will respect referees, opponents, and all families—win or lose.
- I will follow the 24-hour rule before addressing concerns with coaches.
- I will not use alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate language at any SSA event.
- I will model the values of teamwork, discipline, and respect.
Player Commitment
- I will attend all practices and games on time, prepared with my gear.
- I will work hard, listen to my coaches, and give my best effort.
- I will respect my teammates, opponents, referees, and myself.
- I will control my temper and never retaliate.
- I will play fair, follow the rules, and represent SSA with pride.
- I understand that missed practices may affect playing time.
- I will remain drug- and alcohol-free at all times.
SSA Policies
- Training is mandatory. Missing sessions may affect game time.
- Injured players and suspended players must still attend games in uniform.
- Guest playing for another club requires SSA approval and must not conflict with SSA events.
- Communication is through TeamSnap only; misuse may result in removal.
Substance Use Policy
SSA follows MYSA standards. Offenses involving alcohol, illegal drugs, or unauthorized prescriptions result in
suspensions ranging from 30 days to 50 years depending on the violation.
Agreement
By signing, you commit to uphold SSA’s standards, respect the game, and represent the Strikers with pride.
